Other users of our services may be able to see some of the information on your profile once you create an account. The content you share and publish can also be viewed by other users. For example, individuals in your condominium will be able to see your profile photo and first name if you post a garage sale.

If compelled by law or if we think it’s essential to stop fraud or criminal activity, or to safeguard our services, rights, property, or people’s personal safety, we might divulge your personal information.

Maintaining Your Information's Safety
Our top goal is protecting your information. To stop data in our control from being lost, misused, or altered, we have strong security measures in place. To safeguard data sent over the internet, both during transmission and after receipt, we also use industry-standard procedures. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology is used to encrypt sensitive data. The BiomeX platform security framework’s salient features include:
- Secure Data Transmission: HTTPS (TLS 1.2) connections are used for all data transfers to BiomeX servers. To provide secure connection, HTTP (Port 80) queries are automatically forwarded to HTTPS (Port 443).
- Data Storage Security: A server-side firewall and the 256 Bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) are used to protect data stored on our Cloud Servers (Singapore). Data safety is further improved by relational database service snapshots and automatic database backups.
- App User Security: Both the source and storage of user passwords, which must contain a minimum of six alphanumeric characters, are encrypted.
- Monitoring of Server Redundancy: Constant observation guarantees that only essential operations are running on production servers. To reduce hazards, unused ports are closed, and default setups or passwords are eliminated.
Even with these thorough precautions, there is no completely safe way to transmit data or store electronic files. Therefore, complete security cannot be guaranteed, even though we work hard to protect your information using commercially reasonable methods.
User Responsibilities:
- Keep your order information, password, and login private. Don’t provide them to unapproved people.
- Any careless usage of your BiomeX account, password, or order information is not our responsibility.
Retention Policy:
If your account is active or necessary to deliver services, BiomeX keeps your information on file. After management closes an account as inactive, users are not immediately closed. We keep data as long as necessary to fulfill legal requirements, settle conflicts, and uphold agreements.
